Disorder prediction methods

The methods predicting protein structural disorder are based on protein amino acid composition as well as energy profiles and physicochemical properties of the amino acids, specific sequence patterns, missing X-ray coordinates and B factors. A number of disorder prediction methods are based on machine learning methods, such as support vector machines (SVM) and self-organizing maps (SOM).
