The aim of the Bioinformatics group is to understand biological and medical phenomena in structural, mechanical and systems level by applying bioinformatics tools and applications.
The major research interests are
- identification of pathogenic variations and mutations
- structural bases of diseases
- phenotype-genotype -correlations in diseases
- protein structure-function -correlations
- primary immunodeficiencies
- technology for mutation data presentation and distribution
- immunome
- systems biology, especially in relation to human diseases
- large scale data analysis
